As a photographer, I explore human emotions, with a particular focus on the indelible impact of death, especially after the suicide of my beloved husband. In my work, I strive to portray the painful reality of being left behind.
My work delves into the feeling of a world that continues moving forward while personal life stands still. Do the deceased still have a presence in our world, watching us from another dimension, or do we seek to deny their absence? I investigate the parallel worlds I experienced following the sudden death of my son’s father.
My work is a tribute to the strength of the human spirit to endure despite profound sorrow. It also serves as an invitation for the viewer to connect with themes of loss and mourning. With my book, I aim to honor the love that endures, even amidst the darkest storms of life.
